Welcome back to your weekly rundown of the biggest entertainment stories on the ‘net. First up…

  1. We’re in the Endgame now… Without warning, Marvel released the latest trailer for Avengers: Endgame this week. Stuffed with references, juicy nuggets and smart call-backs to previous MCU movies, the teaser leaves quite a bit to unpack. Tony is back on Earth, Hawkeye’s rocking a new haircut and the Avengers finally have a team uniform. Not much of the actual plot is revealed, but there’s plenty to keep us going until April. Bring on Thanos!
  2. A Whole New World Want more from the House of Mouse? Disney dropped a new teaser for its live-action Aladdin remake too. We got another look at Will Smith’s Genie, Mena Massoud as the titular scallywag and Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine. Roll on May 24.
  3. Back in the game In other fantasy-related news, The Rock shared a cast photo from the set of Jumanji 2. Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan and Jack Black all reprised their roles for Jake Kasdan’s sequel and by the looks of it, the dodgy costumes too…
  4. The Doctor will see you now… If you’re at all excited about Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, then take note. there’s another Charles Manson-featuring flick on the horizon. On Wednesday, Epic Level Entertainment unveiled the first teaser for Mary Harron’s biopic Charlie Says. Based on the true story of the Manson family, the trailer offers a first look at Matt Smith playing the notorious cult leader.
  5. Higher, further, faster Captain Marvel has rocketed past $500million at the global box office and shows no sign of slowing down. In fact, Brie Larson’s debut outing as Carol Danvers is on track to top $1billion by the end of its theatrical release.
