So set your alarm clocks, ‘cos Keanu Reeves is back in action on May 16.
  2. Summer of ’69… Quentin Tarantino’s nostalgia-soaked ninth feature dropped its first trailer this week – and yes, it’s exactly as you’d expect. Packed with cultural references, psychedelic visuals and witty one-liners, the teaser introduces us to Rick Dalton – a washed-up actor (Leonardo DiCaprio) trying to maintain relevance. His stuntman and closest friend, Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt), also appears alongside infamous Charles Manson victim Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie). OUATIH is set to debut at Cannes on May 21, exactly 25 years since QT picked up the Palme d’Or award for Pulp Fiction.
  3. Time flies when you’re having fun… After eight long years of waiting, Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves took to social media to announce Bill & Ted 3 to the world. Entitled, Bill & Ted Face the Music, the comedy sequel will be directed by Dean Parisot, while screenwriters Chris Matherson and Ed Solomon – who wrote the first two movies – have also returned. The party restarts sometime in 2020.
  4. The reviews are in… If you loved Jordan Peele’s smash debut Get Out, then get excited because his new nightmare is just as good. Currently sitting at 95% fresh on reviews-aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes, homm invasion horror Us has already proved a hit with the critics.
  5. The toys are back in town… Pixar plucked heart strings once more this week when they released the latest trailer for Toy Story 4. Stuffed with new characters like Forky and Duke Caboom (Keanu Reeves), the focus was everyone’s favourite cowboy Woody. He’s on a new path this time around and Disney’s new adventure sees him questioning his very purpose in life. Check back on June 21for answers.
